KeyQuest values the protection of your privacy and will therefore handle your personal data with the utmost care. This privacy statement informs you about how we manage your personal data. We collect this data when you visit our website www.keyquest.nl, when you provide it to us yourself, and/or when you use our services.

For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?

KeyQuest B.V. processes your personal data for the following purposes:

We primarily base the processing of your personal data on Article 6 under b of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), namely the execution of our services. Additionally, we process personal data to meet legal obligations, such as tax obligations.

Finally, we base the processing of your data on Article 6 under f of the GDPR, namely a legitimate interest. These interests include providing an optimal (online) service, securing and managing our systems, marketing purposes, and informing you about our services.

If we ask for your consent in advance for processing your personal data, we process your personal data based on Article 6 under a of the GDPR. You can revoke your granted consent at any time. The processing of your personal data up until the withdrawal of your consent is lawful.

How long we retain personal data

KeyQuest does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data is collected. This means that your personal data will be retained as long as they are needed to achieve the relevant purposes and in accordance with legal retention obligations. We also delete your data if it is found to be outdated or if you request this yourself. The aforementioned retention periods do not apply if there is a legal exception, or if we need this data longer for our services or in case of a dispute.

Security of your personal data

We will take all reasonable organizational and technical security measures to secure your personal data and protect it against loss, unauthorized use, or alteration. All employees and/or self-employed individuals engaged by KeyQuest for its services are also bound by confidentiality.

Sharing personal data with third parties

KeyQuest does not share your personal data with third parties unless this is necessary for the execution of our services, external processing by freelancers who provide (part of) the services on behalf of KeyQuest and/or store and/or process your data, IT and website administrators, and marketing agencies. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we enter into processor agreements as necessary to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. KeyQuest B.V. remains responsible for these processing activities.

In principle, your personal data is processed on secure servers within the EU. Outside the EU, we will only transfer your personal data if there is an adequate level of protection or if KeyQuest ensures that your personal data is protected by means of standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

Accessing, modifying, or deleting data

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to object to or restrict the processing of your personal data by KeyQuest, and you have the right to data portability. Data portability means that you can request us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another party.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer, limitation of, objection to the processing of, or your request to withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal data to info@keyquest.nl.

To ensure that the request for access is made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, black out your photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the line with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN) for the protection of your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

KeyQuest B.V. also wants to inform you that you have the opportunity to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Data Protection Authority.

KeyQuest reserves the right to change this privacy statement from time to time. The latest version will be published on the website.
